Align by Design – Creating High-Impact Spaces for Competition, Collaboration, and Career Pathways

This session focuses on architectural and interior design considerations that support
competitive play, team collaboration, CTE Pathways, and instruction within a cohesive,
flexible environment. Participants will examine zoning strategies, technology integration, and furniture solutions that enable multiple learning modalities while maintaining performance and adaptability. Through real-world examples, attendees will explore how esports spaces can align with Career and Technical Education programs and support prosocial learning outcomes, ensuring environments are not only engaging but intentionally designed for connection, teamwork, and skill development. Participants will leave with actionable design strategies that align esports environments to district priorities, student needs, and evolving workforce pathways.
